Can any body give me trade names and places to obtain these ?
30 mm ( ish not yet checked ) internal star type gripping wheel retainers that are pushed on an axle as found on double wheel axled wheel barrow .. Some mate have been and helped me out but got excited and wacked the barrow axle on some concrete posts and totalled the retainer .
I has been temporarily repaired by drilling the axle tube end and inserting a split pin but I doubt it will last long as there is not much meat left around theouter edge to the pin.
If I fail to obtain one I may try slicing a wee bit off the tube so it is shouldered level with the wheel hub , then welding a nut in the tube and stud locking a bolt and stop washer in place.
