In other news.... they sure did a number on that inlet manifold, huh?

There is a member on here that does similar type thing, cutting inlet manifold in half,porting it and putting it back together.

I remember the thread started by talking about sand blast attachment for Karcher pressure washer.

I couldn't work out how the dowel extractor worked. Admittedly didn't expend much brain power on it, nor did I bother to disengage brain and engage Google.

A collet gripped the dowel and then a slide hammer used to extract it.

I'm assuming the collet want over the dowels the long bar slips over and the nut pushes the bar forward making the collet grip
