powerplus mini circular saw

Powerplus 600 Watt Circular Mini Plunge Saw with 3 Blades, Laser Guide + Mitre Base with Accessories Kit -Cut Wood, Ceramic, Tile, Aluminium, Plastic.
I've had this for 3 years and now it appears that the gear box has given up.
motor spinning but blade will not spin nor does the shaft that it attached to.
so much for the booklet ! no exploded picture of how it all assembled.
got most of it apart but cannot separate the gear box casing.
cant see anything that holding it together other than two circlip thats hold the shaft and a big one holding the bearing.
took the small circlip off still wouldn't budge.
my son recon its one of those tools that aren't meant to be repaired.
any ideas??

I'd try taking all the circlips off if the bearing then comes off that might free it or reveal some other fixing.

Well, someone put it together so there must be a way of reversing that process. I'd try the above as a next step.

The gear box may have been ultra sonically welded together?

that little circlip was holding it on. took it off but it wouldn't prize apart tapping was in order and it came apart.
the gear on main shaft as well as the middle shaft is ok.
but the one on the shaft that turns the blade was worn out.
funny looking gear ..its a spiral shaft..teeths are worn away.
there was no grease on them at all..was on the casing but not where its needed.
but for one gear everything is fine.
going to see if I can get a spare...???

that one is a bit bulky for what I want.
draper has one so may buy that and if I do get hold of the gear I'll give it to my son.

Try and get hold of a Worx saw. They are about the same size as the one you posted. I wouldn't have thought you can get spares for them, If you are able to, you're very lucky

if not able to get spares I'll just stick it on ebay someone will buy it.lol

the problem with Worx saw is that the blade is only 85mm and I've got 2 spare new ones which are 89mm.

those in belgium-they wont deal direct with me,I have to contact uk home shopping...
what a f**king carry on email back and forth only told they wont do ebay selling of spare parts.
I said who said about ebay I'll buy direct from you.
anyway I rang them this morning only to be told they will have to contact varo powerplus in belgium.
talk about after sale care.
if I dont get what I need I shall not be buying from them again.
