Where have you been? Haven’t seen you on here for a whileGot a couple of the Silverline ones. No complaints, they work fine and are nice to use. With good belts they're a great tool.

they are brilliant for spot weld removal, you have so much control with itIs 13mm belt width the sweet spot with these as I note many of the cordless ones are 9mm? I guess this depends a lot on job type - I've got a rusty truck that needs fixing up and these definitely look useful for shaping, spot weld removal and general cleanup.
that makita one has been in my amazon basket for ages!I've recently bought the makita 18v cordless version and am well impressed with it. I also have 2 b and d mains ones, and 2 air versions.
Its worth noting that the b and d should be 451mm belts not 457, and ime that extra 6mm makes them too slack and they jump off far easier.

Two different materials - Ceramic last a lot longer than ZirconiumWhich are the better belts Zirconium or Ceramic? Or are they just two names for the same thing?
I hope I am wrong but I followed the link as I fancied getting one, I put it in my basket but as I have been caught out before I looked here. The same tool is also available branded as "Voche" and Sealey.![]()

You are right, the Seller's company was dissolved 6 years ago..... maybe that explains why the price is low.Looks like they were dissolved in March 2017?
Would it be difficult for you to take photographs? I need to repair an old air sander....has a proper metal bearing as a nose wheel instead of a rubber one that wears out rather quickly!
