power to the rear of a combo

anyone had to run a power cable to the rear of a combo van ?
need to go from battery to back, anyone aware of an easy route?
was hoping to see a large grommet in the engine bay, without removing too much but if there is one it isnt obvious

Not on a combo but most cars have the bonnet release cable grommet through which you can run additional wiring quite easily.

Too new for me. Can't help with that, sorry.

On an older one I couldn't see anything so I used a holesaw on the bulkhead behind the glove box

Those were fitted on the Rover P6 and I still have some brand new ones somewhere.
Don't ask me to find them though.....

I have one at work awaiting a cylinder head. I'll have a look tomorrow at where on the bulkhead you can run wiring through.

Most stuff under the bonnet's been removed, should be able to get a good look.

To run cables through a vehicle you will find a set of cable pulling rods very useful.

No, the chain in the head snapped and it has 4 bent valves.
