It looks ok but not sure the vandals at work won’t kill it
Vertical column is the way to go for continued tolerance sliding fit rather than a pivot.
The vandals we have are professional it's over 10 years old & cuts mostly RSJ
Should be reasonably sturdy unless they actively try to break it.
I have the Baileigh branded variant with the gearbox and it cuts 5 inch stainless round bar straight enough that my machinist squares agree with it.
Baileigh don't make tools, it's your luck as to which manufacturers product they have screwed their plate onto, the 7 inch bandsaw is of a good design sold by many "manufacturers" including Excel in the UK.the baliegh chop we have is awful they have already said no to one as the sheet folder is baliegh and not brilliant either
