Hi Guys
Currently trying to strip down and restore a Power Hacksaw (Qualters & Smith 150 Sawmaster) for the first time, so please go easy.
Now in the process of reassembling the saw and struggling to fit the saw arm assembly - I am unable to remove the pin in the con rod which didn't need to be removed when it was stripped down as it came out as seen in photo. My question is do I need a special tool to remove the pin or is it possible to hammer it out as it's proving difficult to reassemble as it is.
Also the hex nut that I have taken off, is this just an oiling point. I have included so photos .
Thanks Regards Steve
