For well over 5 years I've been gritblasting scooter panels, basically the process is blast the paint/rust off. examine the panel in daylight, mark up any missed areas with felt tip and re-blast.
I've had no problems until the last batch where my customer has come back saying he can see my felt-tip markings showing through the new powder coating.
These marks were blasted off, so i was wondering if there could be a solvent reidue from the marker pen affecting the powder coat.
To add another variable, this is a different powder coater to his usual one.
Any comments welcome!
