I wouldn't be; I stayed in a hotel near Kinloss a few years back where I couldn't lock the bloody room door!
And then last year we had a m/cycle tour of your area and stopped at the Rob Roy Motel on the way back down. There was a Tom Jones tribute act on, the audience was full of overweight, shaven-headed, tattooed, toothless types swigging McEwans and looking for a fight - and that was just the women!

That audience are just your typical SNP voters mate!

Cooper's Hill is on the way down from Birdlip on the A46 which is linked via the B4070 back road. There is a left turn before the Air Balloon roundabout which takes you through to Cranham, Painswick and Brockworth / Stroud.

There was a case in the local chest hospital years ago, long closed, in the days when they used an oxygen tent over the bed, someone lit a fag inside it & caused himself serious burns

You have to admit though, that Gloucester can be like that too. There is little reason to enter the City anymore. Firstly the council make parking so difficult, then you can find any shop you need, provided it is a pound shop, charity shop or betting shop. There is even a 99p cafe now I see. It's also a great place to go for BUS spotting (boarded up shop).

Don't forget the fast food places

Don't tell eSCHEn, but one of my grandmothers was Irish - and the other a Maclean... - and two of my great-grandfathers moved north from Cornwall in the coal-mining boom.

Seems to be compulsory , pc gone mad. also have you noticed how many adverts portray the man as a half wit ..it was pointed out to me, I hadnt noticed it before, then the woman saves the day, reverse sexism I reckon.Arther

We were staying in Invermess for the first couple of nights, we did an anticlockwise circuit that took us into the boonies and up the A897 through Forsinard to join the coast road by Melvich/ Bighouse.
Dropped into Kyle of Lochalsh to dry out and Eilean Donan (with a million Japanese tourists) for a quick photo...
