if theres a fair few to do I only use half a bag in each to set them and I have a stack of sand and cement and gravel and cement mixer so just top em over with that its cheaper

As you say gets expensive on bigger jobs, we generally use it when times against us, last big job was cut and break out a 1.5 x 10m section of concrete, dig out 1m deep set in preformed channels, cut into existing tank, set concrete pads along top of channel, lower slats on and concret them in. We could start the job at 8 and needed cows over by 12.

Rapid set in the tubs is a different kettle of fish.

post Crete won’t hold a steel gate post or anything with any tension on it, even after a good 4-5 hours of setting.

We use it to set in posts for cubicles when doing repairs and they have cows rubbing and leaning on them after a few hours.

I haven't found it a problem we have installed loads of security gates for the council without a problem
