Its even worse down here in Aus, i wanted a windscreen rubber for my 78 transit, screen rubber frrom the UK $50, a bloody good price, postage $85 WHAT THE?
Theres a good book site that has books on everything (i`ve bought a lot of metal working books through them) all new and 9 times out of 10 cheaper than amazon and they do free shipping WORLD WIDE. Its called bookdepository dot com, how can they do free shipping when their prices are so cheap and everyone else charges so much

Quite agree most dont want to export and all the paperwork that goes with it subsequently charge exorbitant prices.


Luckily most of my stuff is light in weight, dearest region so far Aus but thats only £3.60 ish air mail. Some countries handle post better than others ie NZ and Thailand 2 to 4 working days, whilst others gone down the pan the last 10 years taking as long as 5 months with their customs.
