So after reading a recent post regarding DIY cleaning of stainless using a car battery charger I rigged up my own. It's basically a 3amp 240v power supply and some sulphuric acid and it seems to work which is cool.
What isn't cool (probably) is that it sparks whilst I'm using it and also seems to pulse..?
Is this normal? I'm using a brush rather than a pad and it seemed to not spark when it was pressed down firmly so I assume it's arcing from the brush to the material..
