Post flow timer circuit

Hi all,

The post flow timer on my mig tig arc is not working properly so I would like to make a new circuit to bypass the existing one for the time being.

Any know the best way to go about this. When I release the trigger, I need something that is adjustable between 0 - 10 seconds. Gas solenoid is 24v.

Do an ebay search for a "true off delay timer." Wire it in to solenoid (check you get the correct voltage) taking the feed and "on" signal from wherever the solenoid normally gets its power from, though I would stress if you are not confident around electrics I wouldn't recommend it - you could cause damage to the machine, or worse still to yourself/ others.
