and it burned the lead before killing the fuse? by rights it should have killed a 13amp fuse long before the lead became toasty. As to why its getting hot i have no idea, Mr weldequip should have though
weldequip i have a problem with my 180 autostar ceebora the 240 leed has melted i put new leed and plug but still getting hot do you know what it maybe thnks ted
sounds like it's trying to draw to much current through the cable,i had a similar problem with my single phase 14 cfm 3hp compressor it kept blowing a 13amp fuse and the supply cable would get quite warm, ended up fitting a heavy three phase cable for the supply to the garage ( wired single phase ) never had a problem since.Thank you Weldequip for excellent service and advice.
... all that way 'over the water' with no damage. Standard, UK mainland delivery is around 20 quid so 40 to Ireland is not bad at all I think. Spread the word, spread the word!
