portable edge milling .....new one on me ,anybody ever seen one in action?......gut feeling is as useful as a keyring which measures tungsten stick out

An angle grinder set up like a heavy duty router for metal, good for edging thick plate I suppose, you would have to have a specific need to edge a lot of plate evenly.

In the description it was used once for a demo............so no one bought it or had another demo.
It would probably be difficult to hold it against the plate against the action of the two cutters . I could see it bouncing all over the place...it would need some weight behind it like a proper plate beveler.

Looks like it might be fun to watch, and I bet ie makes a great noise on a large piece of plate.

looks quite high speed ive done some funny things in my time but that wouldnt be one of them. bet the chippings dont half come of fast and hot i wouldnt mind seeing it perform on tool steel and stainless running between 2500 and 12000 rpm
