Let's not be naive - they called it a 'race tuner' because the word 'race' appeals to people and so does being able to brag that they 'race tuned' their own bike. Plus they sold 340,000 of them so they can't really argue that it was aimed and intended solely for race use.
They came up with some slick product marketing and have shot themselves in the foot in the process.
Bet they wished they had stuck to the chrome gee gaws and leather waistcoat type of accessories...................lol
