The microsoft god has installed " important " upgrades to my pooter ,have managed to get most of my toolbar back but how do you get the Tabs function onto your home page? tried allsorts but to no avail Grrrrrr!! help please before i stamp on the laptop,

Imo, unless you need Windows to run specific programs that won't work on anything but Windows I'd get rid asap. Install Ubuntu on there. It's free. Never had any problems in the 5yrs since I've stopped using Windows. No viruses, some minor issues when a new version comes out but it's always fixed - you can always hold back from upgrading a couple of months until you know all the issues are sorted.

Otherwise, are you using Internet Explorer? If so, stop. Install Firefox, again it's free. Very easy to use.

Strange isn't it how free stuff works and expensive stuff annoys the hell out of you...

Internet Explorer, what version has it updated to ? The tab function is in all the later versions. Where the home page title is in IE9 at the top there is a square at the right of the block, click it and a new tab will open or right click on any of your favourites and there is an option to open in a new tab in the menu.
