Well I just nabbed this:

metal straightening tool. But I have no idea how to use it!

What does it do and how does it do it?

My guess is you set all the rollers to the correct thickness then run the sheet, edge, bar, rod, whatever through the device. But do you just push it, pull it or what?

It was £30 delivered, bit more than I hoped for but looks interesting when I am hoping to knock up a few brackets for modified motorcycles.

I think it is a common tool for brake pipe straightening and similar, you apply just enough pressure to grip the pipe and roll it through, they work great apparently.

Very popular with the custom car guys who want perfection with their builds.
