Colchester is probably one of the best bets due to the parts availability. I think most other makes get quite bulky for the capacity compared to Colchester and Harrison, but might be worth looking at TOS, Elliott etc
Parts are getting scarce and hideously expensive. I spoke to a dealer the other day about spares for a customers mastiff. He wanted £600 for a secondhand headstock oil pump and £1500 for a clutch. Matrix are still going but some colchesters have a poor german clutch
A Elliot concord which I also have has a nice spindle bore especially with the din flange chuck mounting but they are poorly made and have undersized clutches like colchesters
