Im going to be spraying two cars in the near future, got good guns, got good air, got diy booth built, got breathing air
but still confused over uses of terminology with paints....or at least I am again since having a read on this paint forum
you type in a forum search on acrylic 2k and not much of an explanation comes up to explain any differences between acrylic and polyurethyane 2k.....and l think there is!....or at least having gone over about 100 youtube info films ....there definately is
so I find the generic refs here to 2K and 2 pack ambiguous to say the least
so correct me if lm wrong
polyurethane 2 pak system = base coat/clear coat system (coulor +hardener + thinnner) flat back coulor coat..... then clear coat (clear +hardener + thinners) flat and buff
result....hard glossy finish
acrylic 2 pak = a single coat system (coulor + hardener+ thinner) that can be flatted and buffed as is....or 2K clear coated coated
result....not so hard not so glossy
both have ***** stuff in them so no diffs on the air feed
