Polycarbonate glasses

Hello. I use prescription glasses. And I want a protection glasses to wear over the prescription glasses. The optometrist has said me that I can buy a precription and protection glases, made of polycarbonate, but I think polycarbonate is not the best material. I mean, I think sparks (Sorry my english) of the angular grinder will melt and stick in them. Am I right?

Maybe it will be better buy a regular protection glasses to wear over the prescription glases. The sparks stick too, but I can trow them away and buy a new one. What protection glases do you recomend to wear over glasses?

I don't wear glasses...but I use a full face shield, I've had just too many incidents of grinding dust managing to get in through the gaps/vents etc plus the risk of a disc shattering etc.

I've got one like this https://ebay.us/myyioO which would easily fit over glasses.

I also have the Uvex expensive but worth the money in my opinion, I will also be getting some prescription safety glasses once the lockdown ends.
