polishing spanners!

Just back into the house after a very satisfying evening polishing up my spanners with a lightly oily rag before putting them in my new 3 piece roller chest. My early Christmas present to myself. And just in time to miss the X factor. 6 or 7 years ago Saturday night would have been spent in a very different way, must be getting old!

Would you believe that my missus complains to me if I don't clean and polish the spanners before I put them away. She reckons they make her hands mucky if I don't.

Most things yes, but tools are a different matter entirely. She can touch my tools only when she can pry the shed keys from my cold, dead hand. Not that I'm protective of my tools mind.
