The french have always been "better" at riots and protests etc than we have, though.
However...as I always look at both sides and am a firm believer you can make the facts fit the outcome you want.....it's not all straight forward.

I could go on for hours but as I was ill yesterday "again" I have things to do.....
Not the same...So it looks like the answer is to stop paying into the state and get a private pension then?
Could say the same about the NHS
But the protests have nothing to do with the EU, they're local French policies they're complaining about - there's the reason it's not shown on the BBC, it would give the message that you can protest about something that isn't the EU's doing, but down to the government of the day - if only we were the same here, Puppy dog wouldn't have happened, but it's easy for our media to put the blame where it doesn't belong.

I think it is partly to do with the EU, because Macron is an EU lapdog and his most popular rival, Le Pen, wants Frexit.
The eu is very unpopular with the French, much more so than i thought.
Most recent I could find (October 2019) puts them about 50:50 on approval, but the French are and always have been big complainers - and unlikely to shoot themselves in the foot like the UK appears to have done. They're. More likely to work towards reform.
Still, it's Macron's policies they're protesting, like the UK France has sovereignty on domestic policy like pensions.

Thats amazing to me, the French and the Germans were the two who started the eu, and only half the French approve of it.
Where to start...
I don't think Germany runs the EU.
I don't know what makes the Daily Mail think it was 'pre-arranged'.
And as to 50:50 french for a frexit, was that Marine Le Pen statistics?
