Hi,
Finally got my Clarke 90 welder and my welds are starting to improve. My aim is to weld a small patch in the floor of my project car an MX5. The patch is about 6CM square and when I am practicing I am finding plug welds, as per the tutorial, easy to do and I am getting really good penetration.
Is it acceptable for an MOT to weld in a patch using the plug technique? i.e. I have 4 plugs on each straight of the square or does it have to be welded at the seam of the patch?
Cheers
Scott
