I'm trying to help out, at long range, a vulnerable person in the UK. She's 66, has serious COPD, lives alone, and has always been, even as an adult, terrified of the dark.
Because of this she sleeps with a light on, but has become anxious that power cuts may increase in the current (sorry...) situation.
Somewhere I've seen a night light which operates like an emergency exit light- it works of 240ac then switches automatically to a battery, presumably rechargeable, when power is restored.
Any ideas?
