Please help, SIP 150 problem!

I bought 1 a few months ago (after reading on here I'm thinking maybe that was a bad choice lol) & used it Gasless for about 2 Rolls of Wire. I decided that I really needed the Gas for what I'm doing so spent the last month getting the bit's together to change it, including a Metal Wire Liner to help things along!

I put it all together today, got it ready to weld, pulled the Trigger &...... nothing! Well, I say nothing but what I mean is the Wire Feed Wheel didn't turn & feed the Wire through! So I checked everything I'd had my hands on but all looks good, took the Wheel off & the Cog's turn, when I pull the Trigger the Relay clicks & when I disconnect the Blue Wire that runs up to the Trigger it doesn't so I'm assuming the Blue Wire & Relay are fine! Only thing I could think of now is that the Motor had burnt out or seized somehow! Took the Motor off, touched the Wires to the Car Battery & it spins nice & freely!

Anyone know what else I could check or any other regular problems it could be?!

Switch the power switches on the front a few times to make sure they are making a proper contact

After that I don't know unless the Variable resistor that controls the wire speed or the trim pot has slipped

I've flicked the switches a few times earlyer but nothing happend.

Don't know about the resistor, guessing thats part of the Circit Board right? Also, what is the Trim Pot?! lol

Trim pot is blue thing with 220 on it - they are often poorly trimmed and sensitive to knocks

When I was trying to get mine trimmed right the effect on wire feed speed could be from nothing no matter what setting on the wire feed dial to shooting loads of wire out regardless of attempts to slow it using the wire feed dial

when you squeeze the trigger does the torch become live ?
it could be the relay contact burnt out

It sets the start speed for the wire feed motor

Small watchmakers flat head screwdriver - give it a tweak and see if the motor starts running when you press the trigger - I found mine was variable every time I moved the welder untill I found the best settting and stuck it with nail varnish

What else did you do when you replaced the liner?
sometthing not making contact
is the new wire feeding in properly?
your not running 0.8 wire thru a 0.6 tip or something like that?

and My 105 is quite reliable and usually gives good service but my brothers 130 is a mare and you have to go through an elaborate flicking of switches routine every time its used.
