hmmmm looking at the co2 how long would one of them bottles last also what size is it.

2 kg liquid = 1214 liters of gas.

About 121 minutes at 10 L/min.

I have a 13kg tank that has lasted years

To the OP, it may take a while for the dip tube to empty. Then the reg should not freeze as much.

Reckon I need a darker lense in my mask? It is a brand new mask so shouldn't be knacked. Or am I getting too close to the weld? It's always just behind my left eye and starts coming on very soon after starting.

They're really helpful and the prices seem about right.

If you want to try my welding lid I'm happy to pop round, it's got adjustable shades up to 13. This might help work out the eye problem

That's where I got my welding helmet from amongst a couple of other bits n bobs, helpful chap in there. Thanks for that offer, I just spoke to a mate this morning who is going to loan me his for a couple of days so I'll see whether it makes any difference.
