What do you folk clean the “chromed” plastic trim on cars?

mine is all watermarked and needs sorting out

try rs foam cleaner , very mildly abrasive . way more gentle than metal polishes and t cut etc.

I try to high pressure hose the pigeons, owls, pteradactyls (?) crap off once a month...

I don't have any experience to help in the chrome trim department as it doesn't come standard on Transit Van's

Depends, if its relatively modern I used to use a non abrasive polish and just buff it lightly with a microfiber cloth

Its had the full interior treatment today, glass, plastics, trim, leather all cleaned polished and shined with thier respective cleaning products. Carpets and mats full carpet shampoo and scrub

I think they call it detailing

Something like Autoglym super resin polish

Just check its not a cutting polish, its been years since I cleaned and polished the inner wings and door shuts on a car

The motor racing company next to us are the same.

The 'retired' father cleans his wifes car with a compressor, and a vacuum cleaner.

Lol. Seriously when I lived in England those hand washes were everywhere and I didn’t know anyone who did their own. At the price they charge it’s not worth it And they do a good job.

that’s whom I regularly use at the Wolverton Car wash, but they ain’t good with plastic chrome
