plastic media blaster

need somethging to remove some powder coating off a very thin frame its been suggested that i get it done with plastic media can anybody point me in the right direction re someone to do it please Cheers Dean

I don't know anyone who does it, but I'd be very interested to hear how you get on.

I've heard it's quite good, but powder coating can be a pig to shift, depends on how well it's been done in the first place.

There's a firm called Eurochem Northern Ltd who do a product called Atlas-T which apparently shifts powder caoting very well, but I don't know if they'll deliver in your area.

just normal nitromors
i did get a product off someone but it took betweem 3-5 hours to soak in but if you missed it it went hard again

Yep, green can, not the 'specialist' stuff.

I do a fair bit of small scale powder coating at home and Nitromors does the trick when I mess up a coating.

Had no joy with Nitromors on powder. Frosts sell something specifically for powdercoat, not tried it though.

Dissolves hardened resins. You might be able to put together a soak tank if you have alot to do. Save brushing the nitromores on. Perhaps soak then pressure wash.
