It really depends upon the local land fill policy.
When we had the refurbishment 18 months ago we had to get a separate skip for it as well as three other skips for mixed waste , clean soil and only rubble.
I was informed that if I mixed the plaster board in any skip it would cost me £450 for the skip to be emptied on a concrete pad and hand sorted.
Prices were different for each skip but I recall that the plaster board skip was most expensive ( I think it is being recycled for board as the production of virgin board is rather high in the green house gas and energy stakes ).
I noticed on Thursday that our local tip now has a dedicated enclosed skip for small bits of plaster board from domestic situations and a warning of a £20,000 fine for trying to put trade stuff in it .
