Heart transplant under way. This is to see if the bottom board has anything to do with this fault. If I swap the main board set over and the fault stays on the 225 chassis/ lower board then it would be a clear indication that's where the fault lies.
Having swapped the heart of the 225 into the 350, the fault of nothing happening on depressing the trigger followed to the 350. So that means definitively it is a fault within the main boards assembly. Not the lower board or control panel.
Putting the 350 heart into the 225 means I have at least one working welder now. It seems to take about 5 minutes run time for it to warm up and start working properly regarding the finicky HF starts. After that it begins to work very nicely was using it in AC mode and ran several long beads with it.
