Hello, the dashboard in my Citroen DS uses a circle of warning lamps, each with its own coloured segment. The Citroen ones are clever in that they all appear to be black until illuminated. Unfortunately after 50 years the segments are crumbling or melting.
I have designed replacements and print using an Ender 3 v2
The problem is they allow too much light to pass through. The dash looks like the Blackpool Illuminations.
I have tried increasing the infill to 100%. I have increased the number of top and bottom layers.
Other than painting the back of the segment, are there any ideas how to make the print denser?
I need green, blue, red and yellow.
Finding darker shades of filament on Amazon is hopeless. Are there any better suppliers?
