Prices have dropped now and I'm past needing a new phone, any one got one?

Main concern was battery life, although it's probably better than my 3yr old Sony.

    Cheers

Any new phone, especially a flagship model, will have good battery life.

Will be considering getting one soon. Broke the screen on my pixel XL Thursday.
Though il probably grab a pixel xl3 recon and save the pennies.
Very happy with the pixels in general.

And I still get the best part of a day out of my phone with medium use.

The battery life on the xl is OK going off reviews but the normal pixel 4 got pretty bad reviews with regards it's battery, I thought some one I knew might have bought one by now but no they are all Chinese loving apple fans.

Actually after typing that I thought I had better see where it's made. China.

    Back to Sony it is.

I used to buy Google phones - they offered good value for money with first updates to latest Android.

Then they started to bump the price up and became more premium. I now swear by Oneplus since purchasing the 6T a couple of years ago - well worth a look.

Good luck finding a phone that doesn't have some Chinese content.

Yup, can only try, may have to concede on the components but certainly not on the made in China.

I have the oneplus 7 , Rather dodgy import from china with a changed software as they never sold the bare 7 here in the UK. Very happy with it , extremely fast charging good battery brilliant camera and does everything i need fast.

One of my mates had a pixel and had a heap of issues with the software bugs glitches and the battery so he has moved to Samsung.

I'm waiting for the 4a due to be launched next week. It may have a better battery life after the bashing Google got over the 4.
