Ive got forklifts at each end.
Are you taking a commercial (blue ) pallett with you?

I have shipped 4 machines from the UK to France, 3 out of four sight unseen! I'm curious to see how customs go! All the best!!This week, finally, finally going to get it.
Van organised, dependent on height, failing that trailer.
Comes with a vice and some tooling.
Seen videos of it running....
Cash is in an envelope.
Yo, ho, ho.
As long as it isn't a plastic pallet. I picked up a CNC Bridgeport from the centre of Weegieland, from an Ozzy as it happens , and it was on a plastic pallet. Bleeding thing was a nightmare, had to stop about 5 times to restrap as it was moving all over the place. Are you taking a commercial (blue ) pallett with you?

Ahh, no international travel involved, a 1h30 pootle in a hired Merc Sprinter.I have shipped 4 machines from the UK to France, 3 out of four sight unseen! I'm curious to see how customs go! All the best!!
Cheers, Matthew
I'd be dropping it straight onto a trailer with no pallet and then strap it downAre you taking a commercial (blue ) pallett with you?
Have you got it yet?Ahh, no international travel involved, a 1h30 pootle in a hired Merc Sprinter.
Maybe, probably slower coming back.
Everything is organised, and ready, tomorrow is thé day.

I'm sat in my dressing gown drinking coffee, shortly, shortly.Have you got it yet?
Couldn't find a suitable trailer yesterday, so then had problems finding a van.I'd be dropping it straight onto a trailer with no pallet and then strap it down
If you are going to use a pallet then you really want to be putting some thick ply on top first
My current mill was lifted onto the trailer by a fork lift, used the lifting eye on top of the mill
A couple of cms....How much height did you have to spare getting it in and out of the van?
Yet to really give it a thorough examination, seems to all work, been sat for a while, so couple of sticky handles, that's all, can't find any play, doesn't seem too abused. 1987, I think, so 34 years old. That’s a nice bit of kit mate
