HI Everyone
Newbie just joined.
Bought a mig a couple of years ago to put together my old heap (MG midget) more rust than metal. Had great fun blowing holes in metalwork and as time went on realised my enthusiasm was only exceeded by my incompetence
So few weeks ago started a short college course to blow holes in someone else's metal
and now like a pig in clover - 3 hours of welding a night more plate than I could ever scrounge from my local scrappy and someone to tell me where I'm going wrong 
Looking forward to beating the rot once and for all (after cutting out some previous cr*py attempts).
Great site! Now off to buy a reasonable auto helmet off weldequip
