Not my picture, but, driving around the M25 on Wednesday I saw 1 of these on a trailer



I thought it was something Italian but my wife clocked a VW badge on it

Bit of Internet searching revealed its a VW SP. Designed and built in Brazil for the south America market, and yes it's aircooled

Cygnet 1 (a rebadged Toyota IQ) : Build dates 2011- 2013. Spec - not a lot.

Cygnet 2 "Super Cygnet" : one off factory conversion built in 2018 around a 430hp 4.7L V8 engine form the Vantage.

Same engine different view, those Datsun rods take a beating. Yes it is a Xflow
The tel tale gave up at 11, 12400rpm and some if I remember, driver missed 3rd coming out of dip at Gurston
We saved the dynamo bracket bits of shrapnel in the dry sump tank, So we built a bigger more powerful one
1996cc or close a lot of horses and phenomenal torque from 1500rpm to 7200

thats awful, look at scratch in the paint on that block.

I agree, they are very common over here, just a plain sedan.
Can anyone make out the decal upper left of the truck (bonnet) lid ?
Sometimes that would be the local dealers I.D. sticker.
