Here is a pic of my second attempt at TIG welding, The material is 1.5mm mild steel, the joint is, well i thinks its called a lap joint, one piece is on top of the other.
Its not the best of welds, but its much better than my first attempt
I tried welding two pieces at 90 degrees but it was awfull, lots of think weld and then a blow hole !
Practice practice practice !
Any advice on the 90 degree joint or the weld on my pic would be Appreciated.

), But doing repairs and general Maintenance on anything I can work for, I'm not bad at Mig and stick, done that at work, but the Tig would come in handy, plus the fact i enjoy welding anyway..
(who would buy something that needs welding eh?
