It is common for most phone providers to advise customers that faults inside the house will be charged for. Also, that if the fault is on the outside, there will be no charge.
But what about the master socket? Providing that this has not been tampered with, my understanding is that this is the responsibility of open reach, not the customer. Am I right?
The reason for asking is that my relative's phone, which is plugged in to the master socket keeps cutting off /disconnecting the call. He has tried several phones and the same thing happens.
