hi,
happened to come accross this oldie from the fab shop over the road, i was looking for an ac arc welder and they pointed me to the back and this was lying in the corner
it is 240v or 415 and i have wired it temporarily at 240v and will change it to 415v as it is blowing fuses.
the mcb's keep tripping out and it has blown a 13amp fuse in the plug, i have turned the mcb's back on and they do stay on, the machine hums fine and i have laid about an inch of weld and it tripped out again.
hopefully these issues will be sorted on 415v. i have checked all live and negative connections with a multimeter and there is no short circuits.
if anyone can shed info on this unit or why it is tripping mcb's i would be glad to hear it.
cheers
