I'm not qualified to stomp on anyone's chest, but there is a gorgeous lady nearby that knows how to get mens hart's beating.Include cardiac resuscitation and I'll be there.

Mine was the same with the origional head, so bought new head which is far better quality, easier to reload cord works a treat now.It breaks just inside the head stopping the auto bump extention of the cord. Sometimes after ten seconds.
After one nigth in water I could mow for half an hour without stopping.
bump feed normaly has a sprung plastic head under the strimmer head that you can bump on the floor that would release the rachet mech and the spin of the mechine would let a little extra line out a lot of strimmers have that for yearsWhat are these bump feed heads you're all talking of?
I have to keep pulling the round plate up and turning it to get more cord out! Is it knackered or what?

Thanks! My one has a left hand threaded plastic nut that holds a cover on, that can be turned but I have to pull it out against a spring to get more line out, sounds what like what I thought was a bump feed that was crap isn't a bump feed at allbump feed normaly has a sprung plastic head under the strimmer head that you can bump on the floor that would release the rachet mech and the spin of the mechine would let a little extra line out a lot of strimmers have that for years
what mechine you got ? got a picof the head ?
240 metres of string….. no I try to avoid strimming …. It doesn’t fit with my world view of easy as possible.
