Mine don't get a free ride.I get that all parents want to better their kids lives, But I tell you now I wouldn't be one to give them everything on a plate
They don't understand the value if given everything they scream forMine don't get a free ride.
They definitely won't get a free ride when schools out.
The wages are crap, but the hours are brilliantprobably......our hourly rate needs looking at
@brightspark Maybe you need to take one out of @eLuSiVeMiTe book & do the samea lot dont want to go back because they have had it good the last 6 month with pay. join the real world again .im supposed to be cutting back but seem to be getting more on booked for all next week and that's before the phone starts ringing tomorrow
@eLuSiVeMiTe I could understand if people don't work because of genuine health reasons. But the common story is people can't be asked & would rather take hand outs
It's pathetic
I would love to make a comment, But I will resist the urge on that oneI moved my wife and eldest from north devon back down this way 7 years ago.
Sis lives in my mum's house so we agreed to stay there short term while we looked for somewhere to rent
I'd moved stuff down into a lockup and the garage in advance. Moved the wife in with my mother a week earlier
The day I moved the last load and the last north devon job she trots out and proudly announced she's quit her job
So I ended up footing the bill for everything while she sat on her **** and did sweet fa.
Worse than fa. Her behavior with her new fella was disgusting. We had a kid in the house
Then her and her fella tried to swipe the lovely place we currently live in from under us.
All my mum could say about her behavior was well she's never had a holiday. (bull)
She also spent years on the sick claiming depression
Finally popped a sprog out to avoid work yet again
I don't think that's totally the same concept of not wanting to work & I definitely agree about the brainwashing partI don't work....but not for want of trying too work.........worked for 36 years in various companies since apprentice at 16, ,my last job I was cast aside like a used tissue due to a "reorgainsation". First time in that 36 years !! Dawned on me that when you work for a company like everyone knows....you are just a number? Anyway, in those preceding 36 years I used my head, and I paid off my mortgage, paid for all my toys and still have grub in the fridge. Im still looking for work, but at my age Im choosy and who/what/when.........unfotunately boss, it needs to suit me? Im lucky my missus likes her job so we cover the day to day stuff, and anything I make on the side with odd jobs etc just adds to the pot. I think a few of my mates are jealous though because they always appear more annoyed than me about my situation? Im low maintenance, do not need the latest consumer widgets, and can very much live within my means. Whereas they want the latest widgets, fancy 5 bed houses with mega mortgages and ultra white teeth to go with their latest 4x4?...............its a work work work brainwashing we get from the first day at school....you just got to break that cycle before its too late......( I dropped a red pill years ago )
I asked twice to get back to work during lock down. Got refused the first time, got back the second time of asking but it still took ten days from asking. I was bored when i wasnt working and that was only after three weeks of doing little. No idea how folk do it week after week, I’d end up killing somebody.
