Hi All
Not sure if there is a similar thread, if so my apologies. I am going to be making some burglar guards for my house. It will typically be made of 12mm x 12mm square steel bar crossing over one another.
Now, how do i make sure that when welding the bars together that i have got enough penetration to ensure the strength that is required for security is there?
I am using 0.9mm gas less flux core wire and a 140A welder. Thanks.
