Sadly we dont have a give away page so if any-one would like to collect our Pels metalworker they can have it. It is a LARGE machine and has new blades and you will need some decent transport. It will chop through 10mm plate, 4" angle and can accept a Munton block to punch out what ever you desire...It is in Derbyshire / Nottinghamshire area

Yeah that's what I mentioned, looks like he could not get his £500, probably not because of the machines worth, more because of the weight and size.

Those machines are a bit dated nowadays compared to modern methods of metalworking, I have spent many hours punching plates, cropping angles and munching through flat bars on a Pels, useful enough tools for rough fabrication but not a precision machine,
when the company I worked for went bust our machine sold for £20 at the liquidation auction, when the bloke who bought it realised how much it would cost to move it he just took the tooling and left without the machine, it went for scrap

If this is like it I am glad I was late seeing it lol I got myself a hydraulic collet chuck today ,which I can hide ......so no divorce. .....if I turned up with a Pels metal worker I would be definately looking at divorce papers. Lol
