As per Daph, modern advice is that the inbuilt service is entirely adequate. In the prior decade I was using Zone Alarm, but not recently.Having just discovered my antivirus internet protector is pulling a fast one I have decided to change companies. Can anyone recommend a sensibly priced and reliable Co the use please.

kayos is wiser than what you think his comment is pulling your leg thoughBelow all require a bit of disiplin/common sense practised however.
1) Use Windows Defender or a decent free AV.
2) Use free version or paid for Malware Bytes, set up automatic scans which can run in the background.
3) Down Load Free Version of Proton VPN or a VPN and use it, EDIT however most VPNs are spam and cookie riddled, regardless of their hype.
4) Don't open spam Email, just delete it.
5) Reject all cookies when visiting sites, ( although it may appear otherwise, with a simple click ), many make this task tedious and a lengthy procedure.
6) Clear all your Google history every so often, just make sure you are clearing site searches, not pass words.

Thanks, I have taken note.kayos is wiser than what you think his comment is pulling your leg though![]()
