Paypal payments not taken from my bank account?

On the 29th last month brought 4 items from different retailers totalling £1100, all paid via PayPal but as of today the money hasn’t actually left my account or even marked in the pending section. It shows all fine when logging into PayPal and I’m guessing each retailer got the money as the items have been delivered to me. Never had anything like this before, are thing just running slower due to the corona?

I’ve tried contacting PayPal, they have no people on their messanger just an automated thing and when I call it says they have limited staff and there is nobody available to speak too. Anyone had this before?

In PayPal is it showing as completed or pending?

I contacted PayPal quite recently as I had several transactions that hadn't been taken from my account

Eventually they cleared, But I must admit they took alot longer than I expected

Opened each payment up and none mention payment pending or this payment on delivery option where the payment is taken after 14 days. I'll try calling again tomorrow.

When paid from your bank account I think it takes two weeks to deduct from your account due to the pay after delivery.

Select the option highlighted and it should take you to another page with pending and completed transactions, just selecting 'Wickes' will show 'you paid £109.90 to Wickes' even if its pending

Also worth checking your funding sources in paypal.
I think payments from your bank account are mostly taken via direct debit but if you have a credit card or something set as a backup payment method check its not been sourced from that instead.

See if your purchases arrive, leave the funds in the bank just incase....simples...really and cross your fingers and toes...

I finally managed to get hold of PayPal. The eis nobody to answer the phones or emails due to lower staff but if you start an online chat, send a message then leave the chat they will get back to you via email. I had apparently selected for the money to be taken from my bank which is my backup option and not my card which is instant. No idea what it's switched around thought, just purchased as normal. It's normal for the money to be taken from my bank within 5 to 7 days, guessing the bank holidays might be slowing it down as as of today I've still not had any taken
