Just got a love letter from HM wasters in some warm office today .

Dear David ,
there will not be any inflation adjusted increase in your pittance for putting your life on the line and getting injured when your country was needing you ,
sort of thing.


Hmm not only have I been stripped off & ripped off by this last year of high inflation in real everyday goods terms and value ( I can't afford a bottle of wine in my shoping basket nor chocolates , but I do need to heat my home and run a motability aided car.) but I'm funding politicians golden parachutes as well .

I'll bet the uncivil serpents etc.don't lose as much in relative terms as any common or garden pensioner or war pensioner ...that's for sure.

Im watching the Bollitics at the mo and its making me sick to my stomach evertime I hear these a***holes go "blah blah blah our mates the banks f**ked up the economy so WE had to give them billions of YOUR money so now YOU have all got to have less and WE have got to cut YOUR pensions hospitals bin men etc blah blah" AAAAARGH!!!!!!! (throws steel toecap boot at telly)! I notice they can still find the 100 BILLION pounds to spend on Trident missiles that dont work.

I feel for you mate, i think the government treat our ex-service personnel abysmally, while feathering their own nests of course, wont post what I really think about them as I would get a severe telling off......

Given the billions they **** up against a wall you would thing the few extra millions to make a realistic repayment to those who serve their country would not be hard to find, and I dare say it would be popular too, it would certainly get my vote.

It doesn't matter what your politics are - it's your business, but for everyone's sake USE YOUR VOTE. You never know, whoever ends up forming the next bent government may think longer about screwing the people that provide the taxes to run the place for everyone else.

You cant win them all Seriously as far back as 1978 it was recognised that there would always be low level terrorist activity and it was suggested that more watch was kept on the people of the country inc ID cards to try and discover who was here and where they went etc..it has been poo pooed as far too expensive & against peoples civil liberties .... the liberties of the victims seem to have been dismissed..now we are slowly starting to reap the harvest from the seeds that the decision makers have sown.
