Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone had any thoughts on this. I bought this machine from Oxford Welding Supplies back in Feb, but only just fitted a plug and been able to run some rods. I got ten minutes in, heard a bang from the unit and the machine had tripped the fuse. Now every time I turn it on the machine bangs instantly and the circuit's switch trips.
I had a 16amp industrial blue plug fitted by an experienced electrician, who also set up its own line and circuit, but still it's tripping instantly.
Is this likely to be an issue with the machine? And if so, would my next step be to call parweld or OWS? Before buying the machine I got the impression that both companies were pretty good chat, however I'm an idiot who forgot to register the warranty within 28 days......
I'll call around tomorrow, just desperate for possible answers right now?? I've tried everything except a new machine!
