Parts washer fluid

Evening all.

I've been thinking about getting myself a small parts washer for cleaning up car parts and boat engine components instead of using cans of brake cleaner and such like. Well today I managed to get a SGS one of faceache for £20 only used twice.
My main question is. I've seen various different fluids for them but are there any better than others or are some more suitable depending on what your looking to clean?

Screwfix fluid, Think it might be called no nonsense degreaser, does what it says, it’s not expensive and works well.

Strong mix of tfr is as good as anything else.
Or heating oil if you want to go for solvent based cleaner.

Me too I reckon 10 years + just scrape the sludge off the bottom every other year and top up

That is what I have started using is my SIP large parts washer. Works great and cheap.
