When I clicked an msc link last week they showed at the £84 price, but if I searched and clicked it came up at full price.
* As I found a few weeks back after a lot of successfull parting. I think it did not like that I have swapped the compound,
instead of the fixed post.
I think there was a German rebrander or manufacturer selling cheap(er) copies of the blades. Need to have another look...
Perhaps but you do need to use them differently. Wind it in as hard and fast as you can. It will either cut or explode*. If your used to hss or chinese blades that will take a gentle feed, these will not work with that approach. They are very good when you get them to work.If you can't part off nicely with an Iscar tang-grip then you might as well sack it all off and just brae away with HSS cos your lathe isn't up to the job.
