Parkside true colour helmet

Hi all, I took a walk through Lidl this evening looking for bargains. I see they have Parkside helmets with true colour lens for £35.
Has anyone any experience of these? Do you think it would be worth buying considering I have a Sealey Auto Darkening helmet? Or keep the ££ for something else I don't need? Lol

The Parkside true colour helmet is pretty good.

not bad for the money, a bit heavy compared to helmets that are twice the price and still have a slight green tinge so not true colour, the mask on the left is true colour, the one on the right is the parkside one.

but for the money they are pretty good for the occasional user.

Flames improved your welding, especially in 6g

I use one all the time now. Love it.
My head strap did break, but I got a generic one off Amazon that fitted a treat.

If they had them in my local Lidl again I would buy another as a spare

Thanks for the replies. I think I've come to the conclusion to just keep my Sealey helmet for now, practice more and then buy a better true colour in the future.
I suppose I was hoping you'd all tell me the old Sealey was holding me back and a new true colour would make me a professional welder overnight ... lol
